I don't know what hardware you're running Windows XP on, but have you considered just wiping it (after transferring any important data, of course) and installing a linux system like ubuntu onto it. That would allow you to run completely up-to-date x86 versions of LilyPond. I'm assuming that you probably have a more modern system that you're using for things like protonmail and the Internet generally. Cheers, David.
