Hello folks, In Mendelssohn Bartholdy’s Ave maris stella, the soprano has this:
With LilyPond, I can obtain the ad lib cue notes with smaller note heads in a cadenza. Is that my best bet? Also, what is the musicial signification of the ligatures above the staff? Thanks for your help! JM
