I tried it, it does work. 1. I had to rewrite the datadir in convert-ly.py to: datadir = 'c:/program files/lilypond/usr/share/lilypond/2.5.31'
2. create the python directory in usr/share/lilypond, with the content from the source archive 3. run: python "c:\program files\lilypond\usr\share\convert-ly.py" -e myFile.ly
