The "correct" key for the second movement is D major, and if you want to play along with a recording, that's probably the best key to choose. But Mozart started writing the first movement in G major¹, a tone lower than A major as now published. So I wouldn't feel too bad about playing the second movement a tone lower, in C. ¹ Basset Horn Concerto, K.584b/621b (in Mozart's hand). Cheers, David.
