Given the TeX roots of LilyPond, I assumed that this would be possible, but
I haven’t found any clues in the documentation.

Leading, in this context, is pronounced “ledding” and has nothing to do
with voices, but refers to the space between lines of text. E.g., 10/12
Times Roman means 10-point Times Roman type with 12 points between
baselines. (A point is approximately 1/72 inch – a fundamental
typographical unit.)

Does LilyPond use the concept of a baseline? As an old typographer, I find
it hard to look at lines of text with varying spaces between them for no
apparent reason.

Thanks!
Fred
