Thanks -- I had previous success with Homebrew, but apparently not under
Sequoia. (I do have ghostscript installed but probably not where
Homebrew's path can find it)
I installed Lilypond from inside Fescobaldi and now things are running find.

Best to check in the Homebrew community, but the error messages appear
to suggest that your Homebrew install is missing ghostscript.
