I'm maintainer of the Frescobaldi flatpak package.
I've never used that snippet, although I use git to manage my sheets.
If someone took over the work started a few years ago to integrate Git
in Frescobaldi, then bundling git inside Frescobaldi flatpak would be a
must.
As of today I might consider adding git, if it's easy to build and
doesn't take too much space (it shouldn't).. and if other flatpak users
find it useful.
