I'm using Frescobaldi 4.0.7 in Windows 11 Pro 25H2. I first tried 4.0.6, and then when I saw the problem got 4.0.7, but there was no change.
I guess there is some oddity with a library somewhere. I install a large number of programs of many types, but nothing strikes me as likely to affect this - and this was also true before I had to rebuild my system. I suppose I have other programs using Qt (which I guess handles the tabs), but I thought Frescobaldi on Windows was pretty much self-contained, and so should not be affected by other installations.
