Hi,

I see a lot of scores with a layout like this:

         Segno     CODA
          /         /
 | intro || A-part | volta1 || volta2 ||
            B-part | volta1 || volta2 || ...D.S. al Coda

  CODA: | "A-volta3" || C-part | volta1 || volta2 || ...Fine

Most often the score is divided into two parts with part-2 starting at
CODA. There's some whitespace between the end of B-volta2 and the first
meassure of CODA. So somewhere in the score, there would be a line like
 this:
        ________________  _______________
         1.volta       | 2.volta         |            CODA
                       |                 |
-------|--------------||----------------||           |----------------
-------|--------------||----------------||           |----------------
-------|-------------*||----------------||           |----------------
-------|-------------*||----------------||           |----------------
-------|--------------||----------------||           |----------------
       |              ||                ||           |
       |              ||                ||           |
       |              ||                ||           |
       |              ||                ||           |
-------|--------------||----------------||           |----------------
-------|--------------||----------------||           |----------------
-------|-------------*||----------------||           |----------------
-------|-------------*||----------------||           |----------------
-------|--------------||----------------||           |----------------

Is there a not-too-much-of-a-hack way to do this?

regards,
Peter
