Dear Friends, It works on a Windows PC.
1. Don't use the .ly file extension. Keep the name as .txt, with the file type as Text File and with Notepad in the Open With field in Properties. 2. Drag and drop the text file's icon onto the icon for the Lilypond executable's icon (this can be placed on the desktop). 3. Go back to the folder where the text file is located and open the .pdf file containing the typeset score.
