One advantage of ConTEXT is that 5 keyword types can be defined (compared to 4 in Notepad++). I was als also able to implement my small interface to run LilyPond, Acrobat and others from there.
If I want to work with Notepad++ I would have to define myself what belongs to which category and I can't say when I will have time to do this. Moreover I must confess that I do not understand all the details of how Notepad++ and its stylers, operators, and everything works - and I'm not even sure it is all logical! On the other side Notepad++ comes with some other advantages like folding/unfolding, collapsing, hiding lines and more. I certainly will inform you when I have an acceptable solution! I also checked .../share/emacs/site-lisp/lilypond-words.el quickly and noticed that e.g. indent, poet, wordwrap and others are missing in this file. Hope to have more results very soon!
