I have to use

  \override NonMusicalPaperColumn #'line-break-permission = ##f
  \override NonMusicalPaperColumn #'page-break-permission = '(),

right?

Yup, until 2.11.16 (according to Joe). So now we have two good minimal
examples that show each setting perfectly:

%%% #'line-break-permission = #'() BEGIN %%%

\version "2.11.15"

\new Score \with {
  \override NonMusicalPaperColumn #'page-break-permission = #'()
} {
  \new Staff {
     \repeat unfold 200 { c'4 c'4 c'4 c'4 }
  }
}

%%% END %%

and

%%% BEGIN #'line-break-permission = ##f %%%

\version "2.11.15"

\new Score \with {
  \override NonMusicalPaperColumn #'line-break-permission = ##f
} {
  \new Staff {
     \repeat unfold 200 { c'4 c'4 c'4 c'4 }
  }
}

%%% END %%%

Neat. There's an awful lot of layout power in the NonMusicalPaperColumn grob ...
