Hi Adam, To hide the bar lines you need the \bar"" command. Check out this section of the documentation http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.10/Documentation/user/lilypond/Bar-lines#Bar-lines I couldn't find a way to print a single bar line at the beginning of the score though. Maybe someone else could point us in the right direction.
