It's a crazy amount of information to sift through, period. I have
such a new found respect for computer music notation, after looking
at the various things that are communicated with this shorthand, and
then someone with some understanding of computer programming figures
out a way to construct a syntax to describe the shorthand, with the
end effect being lines and circles on paper. Automagic is right!
