hi flup, i have a similar problem in converting an encore-file to lily using the xml-python-tool; i wrote into the group, but i do not have an answer yet; see: http://old.nabble.com/Music-xml_Problem-tt28428376.html#a28428376 here i described the problem i have got; i use the windows version, but your problem seems to be similar ("trace-back" etc.) i attached a screenshot to demonstrate the altert messages.
