To my question concerning problems with generating a Table of contents David Kastrup wrote: "Try running convert-ly on it" I started from scratch with a new file Booktest4.ly copied from the manual (version 2.16). First I ran "convert-ly" and then tried to compile. The printout is below and shows that the problem remains. Delighted if anyone can give more suggestions. John McWilliam
