Thank you for your response and direction to material for me to learn. Leaning 
is the fun part of Lilypond!

I have accomplished what I sought. I opened the Lilypond file for the first 
movement, appended the second, and then appended the third.

Of course we don't know in detail how yyour files are organized. But copy & 
paste is surely not a good solution.

You should create a new file that \include-s the existing movement files.
