Hello, I'll take some time later this week to look carefully, but a first good news is that I was able to compile the manual after installing the missing fonts on 2 different computers :-)
2 years ago, I developed such a package (far less complete!) targeted to LaTeX (not Xe- or Lua-) and I see your work as an opportunity to look at XeLaTeX. I'll take a look at glyphs combinations that could be usefull; octaviation clefs, for instance. Thanks for your awesome work!
