If someone is interesting I have now set up the old and the new build
version of LilyPond according to this guide:
http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.17/Documentation/contributor/concurrent-stable-and-development-versions
I have also added the new version in Frescobaldi.
Next I will look at the modified font...
