PS: It also worth noticing that 99.999% of all musical cases do not mix different types of note values when dealing with grace notes, even when we talk about complex contemporary scores. In this case, it is trivial to create a standard for beaming: from first to the last. And if an user wants to mix different note values together, that is also fine, but he might need to manually adjust one or other thing there.
