Hi. Thanks for the welcome and for the quick answer. I actually did some research about it, but did neither find an example nor any instruction how to do this kind of stuff. To make the problem clearer: I want to have the vertical line on the left side of the clef. But even if I remove clef and time engraver, It just does not want to write a \bar "|" at the very left side, surprisingly in the opposite to the \bar".|:" which it does display as in the following example: \version "2.18.0" \score { \new Staff { \bar "|" e'' \bar "|" } } \score { \new Staff { \bar ".|:" e'' \bar "|" } } \layout { \context { \Staff \remove "Clef_engraver" \remove Time_signature_engraver } }
