You can assume that the documentation has not been written with the goal of being useless. So just saying "I don't get it" is not going to help when you don't bother pointing out what exactly you don't get. I am not going to rewrite the documentation from scratch a dozen times until it magically turns into "Now I get it". So please be more specific about what of the referenced chapter you don't get.
