My apologies to D. Kastrup for having replied in the wrong way. It seems that Lilypond ( lilypond-2.18.2-1.linux-x86.sh installed with default options ) comes with its own private copy of Guile (1.8.7). Unfortunately this means that installing another version of Guile does not change anything. Please is there any way to break the link between Lilypond and this version of Guile?
At present, the only way I can get a working debugger is by reverting to Lilypond 2.14 .
