No problems with colour here.

There's no ext4 support enabled in omap4_defconfig and I only got HDMI
at 640x480.

omap2plus_defconfig doesn't build, I have a patch for the general issue
but I see HDMI audio is also broken for build there so looking at that
first.

Hacking around the HDMI audio build problem, omap2plus_defconfig blows SIGILL all over my rootfs, that's a new one on me.

omap4_defconfig is workable

 - WLAN is good
 - eth0 is good
 - 640 x 480 on HDMI only
- HDMI audio acting correct but not sound (guess this is simply fallout from 640x480)

There's a couple of patches on top of linux-linaro-2.6.38 here that fix the build problem on omap2plus_defconfig and enable ext4 on omap4_defconfig
