I use both Rosegarden and MusicTeX for score editing and printing.
RtCMix and Jazz++ for composing.

I don't think so. Jazz 3 is nice but not so powerful. Jazz++ is really
powerful, but behaves differently than Cubase or Cakewalk.

Rosegarden is very good for score editing and printing, as well as MusicTeX.
MusicTeX is a good brain killer, but allows whatever you dream of :-)

With a group of friends, we have such a project, but it's still at definition
stage. I'll tell this list when the first drafts will be out there.
