Yeah, me too! I thought it'd be cool to use one of those to shoot a video and
then digitize the output like Levi Asher did with a camcorder for his "Notes

I saw some Pixelvisions go up for sale on eBay, and they're expeeensive.
It's like vintage guitar pedals -- I'd love to have this stuff but I can't
afford it unless it turns up for cheap at an estate sale. And there's
trouble with Pixelvisions -- I guess there's some plastic parts that wear
down no matter what, so if you get one in pristine condition you can only
use it for a little bit before it gets ruined anyway. And if there's one
mint in the box never opened I think it's ruined because this part has to be
used every once in a while or it breaks. So it's kinda like that Agrippa
digital book that destroys itself after you read it.
