> why are you subscribed, when you could just as > easily read the WWW archive of the list? because i love to (or lets call it addiction) get mail! ;))) possibly 'useful' mail > What do you want to get out of > this list; what expectations do you have for it? well, i just thought this is the list where i could throw in all my questions which dont exactly alpply to any of the more software or so specific lists ... but then most of the time, i find the stuff/hintz/whateevr i was looking for most of the time before i have finished the mai l .so .. ;) thats because as soon as you start writing the mail you have to really think about whats your problem, and then well, most of the time you can figure it out ... and also, i ve experienced a little too often that very euphoric talk kicks off about this or that insane project, which is good in a way but it almost always tends to turn out to not be as 'easily' and thouroughly acclompishable as originally thought and then you have around those 300 stale permanent zombi-projects ... of course that's when "recycling" comes in handy .. ;) so, dropping (any sorts) of ideas (loosely related to any of lnx,(art.in.the.broadest.sense),and.any.sort.of.generalisms) for sure can be very 'inspiring' and refreshing, and to top that, i m also in to maybe help someone else with some of the problems i have already overcome in my young linux.career ..
