i ll  check it out .. in fact i dont want to use midi but i m
pretty interested in your mail-list to parameter translation ..
to throw in my share, i ve hacked up a few perl bits utilizing the
MP3::Info module and 'mp3asm' .. doing either random or ping-time based
reassembling on a set of local an http mp3 files ..
i can put them on if intrest. oink.
