yep, although the linux machine running forkbomb.pl in the media lounge wasn't locked down at all so people were free to make their own version of the fork bomb -- quite a few people did which was great. also the linart url was plugged in a couple of places including the media lounge. also jaromil (sp?) gave a workshop on his open source video project which i think was gnu/linux based. i didn't manage to make that but he was an interesting guy. it's strange that there wasn't more from the linux world there -- there were quite a few whoops from the audience when my blackbox window manager appeared on the big screen. i was only there for a few days and spent most of it in a state of nervous despair. despite that i really enjoyed it and met some great people including Florian. cheers, alex
