Farrington Nature Linc is hosting two outdoor events in two weeks.
Registration for each is required through EventBrite so that we may
limit numbers of attendees.

Yoga and S'mores at Nature Linc with Little Elephant Yoga

Join us for a beginner-friendly Hatha Yoga and Meditation class with
Little Elephant Yoga’s own Julie Aronis! The class starts with centering
and grounding exercises with attention to the breath, followed by a
solid warm-up with some slow flow. Class will end with a short guided
meditation prior to a nice relaxing savasana. No props will be provided
please bring your own yoga mat, blanket and if you like blocks and
strap. Stick around and make your own s’mores after class!
Julie Aronis (she/her) of Little Elephant Yoga LLC has been regularly
practicing yoga since 2008 and did her first 200 hour Hatha Yoga Teacher
Training with Rishikesh Yog Peeth in Rishikesh, India in 2011. She
completed her 300 hour Yoga Therapy training in 2014, and has
successfully completed over seven trainings for children’s yoga,
mindfulness and meditation, as well as trainings for vinyasa yoga,
restorative yoga, yoga nidra, and trauma informed yoga. In 2019 Julie
became a certified meditation instructor through the Boston Buddha,
Meditation for Everyone. During her free time Julie enjoys spending time
with her rescue dog Charmin, family and friends, being outside and reading.
Summer Concert and Ice Cream Social at Nature Linc

Pack a picnic, grab a blanket, and join Nature Linc as we soak up a
summer evening on the lawn with our friends The Hip Swayers! Hailing
from the hills of West Tatnuck, the Hip Swayers are a good time, get up
and dance band. Their music combines tight rhythms, searing solos and
soulful harmonies in an eclectic mix of catchy originals, old time
country, and twangy, reverb-soaked surf that keeps your toes tapping and
your hips swaying. Save room for dessert - Your ticket includes an ice
cream sundae served by Waltham’s own Lizzy’s Ice Cream. All ages welcome!
Tickets are $15, free for children under 12. Ice cream will be served
from 6:15pm to 7:15pm. In case of rain, attendees will be notified of
cancellation or postponement. Some picnic tables will be available, but
we advise bringing chairs or a picnic blanket for the lawn so we can all
stay socially distant.
We will be keeping an eye on Covid numbers in the area and will follow
all CDC and state guidelines for outdoor events. If an attendance cap
needs to be implemented, you will be notified by email.
