First day of classes begins at 8 AM Wednesday in Lincoln and on Hanscom Air Force Base. Lincoln middle school students will arrive to newly renovated classrooms, auditorium and dining commons, while construction continues on the primary school.
Please drive carefully as children walk to school before 8 AM and home after 12:35 dismissal on Wednesdays, 2:50 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Be alert near bus stops and crosswalks, and anticipate extra traffic along Lincoln Road at drop-off and pick-up times. Faculty and staff began the school year Monday with an Opening Day Program focused on this year’s highest priority work toward becoming an anti-racist, inclusive, diverse and equitable school district. All classes are held in-person this year and will restore art, music, physical education and other special classes suspended during last year’s pandemic restrictions. This year’s COVID-19 precautions include masks (required at all times indoors except distanced meals and mask breaks), a testing program of routine weekly safety checks and test-and-stay for close contacts, and both COVID and Flu vaccination clinics.
