School-aged children are invited to join us on Wednesday, Oct 20 at 6:30pm for
a presentation by Wee the People, a Boston-based social justice group.*
"Who Gets to Make History? **The Story of Statues and Monuments." *What are
monuments for? Whose stories do they hold up for celebration? Whose stories
do they erase or keep hidden? In this workshop, Wee the People explore what
monuments mean and reimagine how they can celebrate values of community,
equity, and justice. Program will be virtual. Email dleop...@minlib.net with
any question or to register and receive Zoom invite.
