Dear Lincoln Neighbors. Please hold Winston Pingeon, born and raised in Lincoln and my friend, who was serving as a Capitol Police Officer one year ago today. He did all he could to protect the Capitol as well as our Republic. He was injured that day. He still endures the mental scars. Together, we all owe it to him and everyone in this country to find a way forward in peace and with justice for all.
