Hello Neighbors,
I am writing to ask if anyone has a personal contact with a
veterinarian/veterinary office who might be willing to provide our 16-year-old
son with a one or two week opportunity this summer to do volunteer work in the
office so that he can get a genuine feel for the field. Our son is a true
animal lover, with an aptitude for science, who has been very unhappy because
my husband and I have sufficiently bad allergies that preclude us from having
pets -- leaving us without any connection with to vet of our own!
We would be so grateful if our son had a chance to experience the veterinary
profession first-hand for a brief time this summer. Any contacts, input, or
suggestions would be most appreciated.
