As for generators, a good one kicks in automatically and you should not experience interruptions. This convenience comes at a cost. We held off for years (30), but finally said, "enough is enough” and we are very glad we did. There are 2 basic choices in brands-Generac and Kohler. Having someone who is reliable to service is key Eversource is now saying service will be back on by 1PM, but those of us who have “enjoyed “ Eversource’s “service” know to take that with a grain of salt. Phone updates have a history of moving that time back and back!
