shape-shifting life journey took her to Spain, Cuba and finally New York.
German and Turkish editions are forthcoming. Elizabeth’s fourth novel*, The

Stories: The O. Henry Awards, The Pushcart Prize Anthology*, and *Best
American Essays.* The mother of two young adult daughters, she has lived in
Lincoln for more than two decades and teaches at Boston College.

Judy Bolton-Fasman is a writer of memoir and creative non-fiction. Her
memoir,* Asylum: A Memoir of Family Secrets *(Mandel Vilar Press, 2021)
explores the mystery surrounding her Sephardic Cuban mother and her
Ashkenazi American father. Judy has published essays and reviews in a
variety of venues including *The New York Times, The Boston Globe,
McSweeney’s, The Rumpus, Cognoscenti, Brevity* and *Catapult*. She is a

*Le Meraviglie* (The Wonders)

Directed by Alice Rohrwacher

2014, In Italian with English subtitles. Running time: 1 hour 51 minutes.

NYT Review:

https://www.nytimes.com/2015/10/30/movies/in-the-wonders-tasting-the-nectar-of-an-artisanal-life-in-tuscany.html

A family of beekeepers living in stark isolation in the Tuscan countryside
are disrupted by the simultaneous arrival of a silently troubled teenaged
boy taken in as a farmhand and a reality TV show intent on showcasing the
family. Both intrusions are of particular interest to the eldest daughter,
Gelsomina (Maria Alexandra Lungu), who is struggling to find her footing in
the world.

Winner of the Grand Prize of the Jury and nominated for the Palme d'Or at
the Cannes Film Festival. Official Selection at the New York Film Festival
and Toronto International Film Festival. - Kanopy

Some films may not be suitable for patrons under the age of 16.
