Hi, all -- I just received an email asking if I am posting notices of the HCA-related issues as a member of a town committee, or if I'm just an interested citizen, and asking that I clarify my role when I post about town issues.My answer: I do serve on the Roadway and Traffic Committee, and the
Transportation Coalition. I live at Lincoln Woods. I have posted links to the HCA-related meetings as a private citizen, and not as a representative of any group, town-sponsored or otherwise. I believe that the issues being discussed are
significant enough to the Town that everyone should be aware of and
conversant with them. (Another role, as an election volunteer, may be
more pertinent to and is completely congruent with my interest in participatory democracy and a
well-informed public.)At the Multi-Board Zoom meeting I asked
that the Town do more to publicize the meetings related to HCA. You
likely received a postcard in the mail listing the meetings and forums, which went out across town.
I'm posting the info on Lincoln Talk as a private citizen, because a lot
of people read LT, I haven't seen word of the schedule there, and in my limited
experience with PR I know that repetition creates engagement. DebSent from
