Hi, Lincoln—

In the past, I’ve recommended Wet & Forget as a treatment for roof moss, so
I wanted to get the word out that their “Xtreme Reach” product is subject
to a recall. Details are available at the Consumer Product Safety
Commission website
<https://www.cpsc.gov/Recalls/2024/Wet-Forget-USA-Recalls-2-7-Million-Bottles-of-Xtreme-Reach-Outdoor-Mold-Mildew-Stain-Remover-with-Hose-End-Nozzle-Due-to-Risk-of-Skin-and-Eye-Irritation>
.

The issue is that “the hose end nozzle clip can dislodge and allow the
cleaning solution to spray on users, posing a risk of skin and eye
irritation and other injuries.” The company will send a replacement nozzle
if you register for the recall. Contact information and a signup to be
notified when their registration page is online are here
<https://www.recallrtr.com/nozzle>.

Happy roof cleaning,

John Robinson
