Thanks Lincoln Animal Lovers, For rallying around "Figgy" aka "Buddy" the Cat. Kim kindly made us aware of his situation and many of you reached out with suggestions.
He is safely at a no kill shelter recommended by my vet and other residents on this news channel. I am confident he's in good hands and will hopefully soon have his new furever home. Figgy aka Buddy was a very sweet, kind and adorable cat for the time I spent with him during transport.
