Melissa Adler is a lovely home care companion who is seeking a new position for 3 days a week for 5-8 hrs/day and is available immediately. With a background as a pre-school director, she enjoys working with elders and Special Needs clients (she has a Special Needs sister she helps care for). Melissa is very personable and easy to have around. She will engage with your loved one in skill-appropriate activities, crafts, baking, sensory play and reading. A single mom with a clean driving record, she can take your loved one to appointments or visiting fun places—even swimming. She enjoys planning craft projects, doing some baking, building, sensory play and books, and is good with dogs. She is neat and energetic, is great at engaging conversation, and strives to make others comfortable. She is CPR/First Aid trained and recently certified as a Forest Therapy Guide.
