Marijke lived in Lincoln on Oxbow Road. She was from the Netherlands, and came to the US after medical school. She did research at Boston Children’s Hospital on bone cell biology. But her true loves were sailing, hiking at high altitudes, and photography. She was a dedicated volunteer at the Assabet River National Wildlife Refuge.
