Good evening, Lincoln! Our dryer just gave out, and I don’t have the bandwidth to deal with this right now (for all of the helpful folks who have kept me positive about our geothermal conversion: we are slowly but steadily making progress through asbestos removal (done!), utility room upgrades (from Halloween creepy to “I might use this room as my quiet place” -half way there!), getting rid of electrical violations (how did this ever pass in the history of our house?) -final estimates coming in the next few days! We are going on week 3 of no heat. Thank you, 70s weather, even if you make me worry at the same time!). But back to the dryer…I’m at my limit. Does anyone have a functional one they are looking to sell? We would need electric, and 4 prong is preferred for simplicity. I just can’t start searching for a new one, and I feel guilty for not wanting to go through the process of hiring someone for $xx to tell me it will cost more than the dryer is worth to fix it. I’d rather pay a known amount for a working used one in this moment of our time.
