So, for people with heated bird baths, do you use a generic outdoor extension cord for that? I kind of worry about the junction between the extension cord and the bird bath just lying on the ground, possibly in a puddle of water. Do you elevate the junction or maybe wrap it in plastic to protect it from water infiltration?
