Thanksgiving is a lovely time to thank all of our friends and families for all they do for us. It is also the perfect time to give back to those who struggle during this season.
The Lincoln Food Pantry is giving out gift cards to Donelan's for $35.00 for each household. All of our clients can go to Donelan's and buy a turkey or their food of choice to celebrate the season with this gift card.. We also will be giving out other lovely things to each family. This is how you can help us... You can go to Donelan's and buy a gift card in the amount of $35.00 as your contribution to our families. You will see the sign on the check-out. You can donate $10.00 to the Donelan's Thanksgiving Promotion of Best Yet products. You will see the display near the fruit aisle in Donelan's. Once again, this year, Donelan's is donating stuffing, canned corn, canned string beans, canned peaches and cereal to us for our Thanksgiving distribution. We are always amazed at just how much Donelan's does for us, and worth noting that they are the ONLY market to sponsor our food pantry. Of course, Donelan's supports our whole community all year long, something else to be thankful for.. Please consider these donations for us. And, if you find you have room in your shopping bag, please donate a box of aluminum foil for our families and drop it off in the blue boxes at the food pantry (on the porch of the St. Joseph House, 142 Lincoln Road in the rear of the house).
