Fall Retreat: Building Resilience in Community
Saturday, November 23
10:30 – 3 pm

First Parish in Lincoln invites you to a day of spiritual grounding to
unwind from a stressful November and to prepare for the holiday season.
Immerse yourself in yoga, mindfulness, and spiritual letter writing, with
each session led by an experienced facilitator (who is also a member of
First Parish). Lunch will be provided from Verrill Farm. Friends, newbies,
strangers welcome!

BIOS:

Liz Elliott has taught yoga and meditation since 2006. Her studio in
Harvard Square closed in the pandemic; she still teaches classes at
Harvard, leads local and international retreats, and works one on one with
injured folks both in person and on zoom. www.instagram.com/steepedingrace/

Rheinila Fernandes is a board certified psychiatrist who trained at
University of California San Francisco and Harvard University. She worked
at MIT for 12 years and completed clinical research in the use of
psychedelics for trauma. She currently enjoys her work as a psychotherapist
in private practice using a holistic approach including
mindfulness, somatic practices, and lifestyle medicine.

Nate Klug is a co-minister at First Parish. His other vocation is writing,
and he is the author of three poetry collections. His writing has appeared
in *The Nation*, *The New York Review of Books*, and *The Best American
Poetry*. He teaches workshops across the country.
