This discussion will be grounded in lessons from the Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS) and Alternatives for Community and Environment (ACE) report “Freedom to Move”, which provides a vision for transportation systems that enable everyone to get where they need to go.
Our panelists (including 2 of the report’s co-authors) will talk about the report and will speak to how the findings in this paper can inform how we make our transportation systems in Massachusetts more equitable and accessible for all residents.
We’ll be joined by Emmanuell De Barros, Director Of Development and Community Engagement at Alternatives for Community and Environment (ACE), Kevin X. Shen, Northeast Transportation Policy Analyst at Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS), and Seth Gadbois, Clean Transportation Staff Attorney at the Conservation Law Foundation. The panel will be moderated by Paulina Muratore, Director of Transportation Justice and Infrastructure at the Conservation Law Foundation.
