Listening to the forum and re-listening to this recording, I can unconditionally and enthusiastically reaffirm my support for SUSAN MYGATT for Planning Board. She is experienced and knowledgable regarding town policy and process, and a great advocate for transparency and inclusion of all opinion and ideas. She has expressed a commitment to outreach, beyond the usual board meetings to provide public education and solicit input and encourage more public engagement. She is clear about the need to try and find the most consensus as possible, and to incorporate other’s ideas into the policy proposals brought forward- that it is not her opinion that should lead. And, most important, she has a clear understanding of the role of the Planning Board to be proactive and to actually plan.
