Dear Wildlife Advocates and Concerned Citizens, Are you troubled by the silent threat facing our local ecosystem? Save Lincoln Wildlife (SLW) invites you to be part of the solution at our inaugural community meeting on Monday, April 7th from 12-1 PM via Zoom (Zoom details below). And please spread the word! Rodenticides are causing devastating consequences throughout our local food chain. When rodents consume these poisons, they become slow-moving targets for predators like hawks, owls, foxes, and other wildlife that then suffer secondary poisoning. This creates a ripple effect through our entire ecosystem. Potential Initiatives We'll Discuss: - Developing partnerships with local businesses to adopt wildlife-friendly pest control alternatives - Creating compelling educational resources for community outreach - Drafting a citizens petition for the 2026 Town Meeting to regulate rodenticide use Can't Make It?
