As we prepare to celebrate the South Sudanese being in America for 25 years- (May 17 in Arlington- ssefboston.org to buy tickets) I am dismayed to say it Lightly- at the work we have to do. We are checking with all our families about their legal status- most are citizens but some are here on visas which come in different shapes and forms. There is worry and fear in the community as we Navigate this maze. Thank everyone who has reached out….we are untangling this mess. Please call your state rep… protest and make noise.
