Subject: [LincolnTalk] URGENT: Seeking Immigration Attorney for Detained Family
Friend

Hi neighbors and friends—

I’m reaching out with an urgent request on behalf of a family we care about. A
family friend was recently detained by ICE somewhere in Massachusetts. We don’t
know the exact location yet, but her husband was told that a decision about her
potential deportation may happen as soon as Monday or Tuesday.

We are doing everything we can to find legal support quickly. If you know of an
immigration attorney—especially someone experienced with detention or removal
proceedings—who might be able to advise or take on this case (even just to help
guide next steps), please reach out or pass along their contact info.

We’re also open to any tips or connections to legal aid orgs, pro bono
networks, or advocates in the MA area who might be able to help.

I realize this is a highly emotional and politically charged topic, but I
kindly ask that responses stay focused on practical support. If we could
refrain from political commentary or debate in this thread, it would be deeply
appreciated—just trying to stay focused on helping the family through this
urgent situation.

Thank you so much for any leads, support, or guidance.

Corey
